but now you have to overcome that barrier which has been very tough.

Shannon Almeida boasts an impressive array of professional experiences that span over a decade. It all began in 2011 when they commenced their journey as a Financial Coordinator at the Women’s Resource Center. Following this, Shannon delved into the world of finance as a Junior Analyst for the Finance and Investment Club in the same year. Their quest for knowledge and expertise led them to assume the role of Corporate Finance Intern at TATA Power in 2012, simultaneously engaging as a Consultant for the BU Urban Business Accelerator Program.

In 2013, Shannon continued to expand their horizons by serving as an Associate for the Nu Chapter Consulting Group while also holding a pivotal position as an Executive Board Member for the Boston University Consulting Group. Their dedication to entrepreneurship and innovation culminated in 2019 when they co-founded Benefactory, marking the inception of their entrepreneurial journey. Building on this momentum, Shannon assumed a similar role at Volv Media in 2020, further solidifying their commitment to driving impactful ventures.

Shannon Almeida embarked on their educational journey in 2000 at Narsee Monjee Educational Trust’s – Jamnabai Narsee School, where they dedicated themselves until 2008. Following their passion for business and economics, Shannon pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a minor in Economics at Questrom School of Business, Boston University, from 2010 to 2014. Their multifaceted interests led them to explore the intersection of music and business, participating in a summer program at Berklee College of Music in 2013, focusing on Music Business.

Continuing their pursuit of knowledge, Shannon pursued a Bachelor of Laws – LLB from the University of Mumbai between 2015 and 2018, further enriching their academic repertoire. Additionally, they actively engaged in an Accelerator Program at Yellow, demonstrating their proactive approach to personal and professional development. Shannon Almeida’s journey is a testament to their unwavering dedication to learning, entrepreneurship, and making a meaningful impact in diverse spheres.
